Hikes abnd Birds

We took this tour to see Kiwis. The tour was primarily for birders but we have little interest in other birds. The description should have said how much hiking would be involved. A long day hike on a gravel path, return to starting point for dinner and wait til dark then repeat the hike. Over 10 km total. My wife hurt her leg a few days earlier and was able to hike this much. Tour company did try hard.
