Kawiti Glowworm Caves = Amazing! || could skip rest of excursion

These specific Kawiti Glowworm Caves are amazing, 5 star. They have been in the specific Maori family for many generations and ahave a very spiritual feeling to them... not to mention that the gloworms are breathtaking! The good part of the excursion was that the van was small, only 8 or 10 people or so - not a huge bus. The rest of the excursion leaves a lot to be desired. The forest is lovely but it was a slow walking tour of the forest with a lot of stops, and we would have much rathered walked /hiked around at our own pace and enjoyed the scenery on our own. The area stopped for lunch was hard to find a good meal, and the waterfall was completely underwhelming. I recommend just going to the glowworm caves.
