Overview

Relax aboard a sailing yacht on Great Lake Taupo during this sightseeing cruise to Maori rock carvings. Accessible solely by water, this impressive rock art on the cliffs of Mine Bay was created by a master carver in 1976. You’ll come up close to the 22-foot-high (10-meter) gallery and enjoy postcard views from the deck. Relax with a complimentary glass of wine or beer if you sail in the evening.

We had a picture perfect day. Mill pond all the way So it was by electric power So quiet and peaceful Great skipper Good info. Able to ask questions Surprise antics with the wildlife. Opportunity for a swim in cold lake. No takers Thanks for good experience

It was amazing the sailor was a lovely man made ya feel really comfortable aas good at explaining the meaning of the trip about the carvings have recommended it to quite a few people so far and will b back again

Apart from the weather being crappy the cruise and the Captain was AMAZING!!! We are definitely coming back in summer to do it again and highly recommend if you havent done this it should definitely be on your bucket list of MUST DO!!!. This was the highlight of our trip. Thanks Eco Barbary for an amazing adventure :) :) :)
